Students of Friends art education alumni perform well at 2019 Scholastic Art Awards

A group of Friends University art education alumni had art students whose work was recognized in the Eastern Kansas Scholastic Art Awards. Mark Arts received more than 2,400 entries for the Eastern Kansas Scholastic Art Awards, with jurors selecting 152 students as Gold Key, 166 as Silver Key and 309 as Honorable Mention. Gold Key works are submitted for the national judging process, and Gold Key and Silver Key works will be displayed on exhibition at Mark Arts Feb. 1 to March 23.
